The "HERITAGE STOCK PROGRAM" is a project that redefines clothing as something that resonates with one's personality and lifestyle,
irrespective of age, gender, or race. Launched in the 2020AW season,
this initiative reconstructs and presents classic products that laid the foundation for J.PRESS, offering a fresh perspective.

The central theme across all products is "Made in Japan,"
with a commitment to incorporating traditional Japanese craftsmanship down to the finest details. The result is the creation of premium products that emerge from the intersection of American traditional style and the aesthetic sensibilities of the Japanese people—simple yet refined.

〈TAILORED IN SHIOTA〉 is a collaboration that brings together the renowned craftsmanship of Okayama—Japan’s denim capital—with J.PRESS ORIGINALS’s iconic slacks .

This season, the lineup expands to include pieces made not only from SHIOTA denim but also from a newly developed chino fabric. Produced at a Japanese dyeing mill using a special finishing process, this exclusive J.PRESS chino cloth offers a uniquely dry hand-feel with a subtle luster. The denim, meanwhile, is presented with a fresh one-wash treatment and a range of updated colors.

Based in Okayama, Shiota Co., Ltd. is a factory distinguished by unparalleled expertise and technical mastery, spanning every stage from fabric production and sewing to distribution.

The collaboration between Aaron Chang, admired by Ivy
League style enthusiasts worldwide, and
J.PRESS ORIGINALSenters its third edition this season.

This time, the story follows J.PRESS BOY'S and
HANDSOME DAN as they travel from New Haven to
New York, and finally to J.PRESS's store in Tokyo’s Aoyama.
The narrative feels deeply connected to
Aaron himself, adding a personal touch to the journey.

For this season, the eagerly anticipated collection includes
hot Tokyo trends like the Golf Jacket, flannel shirts,
and knit caps. One of the highlights is the detailed graffiti
inspired by Tokyo’s unique subway culture. Each season,
new layers of art are added,creating one-of-a-kind pieces that
continuously surprise and captivate with their freshness and
creativity—making this collaboration truly timeless.

A symbol of tradition, the Shetland sweater has long been a
hallmark of J.PRESS, known affectionately as the “Shaggy Dog.”
The name, coined by J.PRESS, was inspired by the sweater’s
soft, brushed surface reminiscent of a shaggy pup—an endearing
detail that eventually became a beloved nickname worldwide.

Seeking to evolve this icon, last season we began producing the
Shaggy Dog sweater in Japan, in collaboration with Yonetomi Seni,
one of the nation’s most renowned knitwear manufacturers,
established in 1952. Yonetomi is also behind the highly regarded
labels YONETOMI NEW BASIC and COOHEM, known for their
sophisticated sensibility and unmatched technical expertise.

Through this partnership, a truly one-of-a-kind Shaggy Dog sweater
was born—crafted from authentic British wool and brushed by hand
using the traditional teasel-plant method, preserving heritage while
achieving modern refinement.

This season, the collection welcomes a fresh addition:
the skipper polo. Unlike the Shaggy Dog’s origins as a winter
essential, the polo silhouette introduces an unexpected twist
—an intriguing balance of tradition and novelty, offering yet another
piece worth adding to your wardrobe.

In an exclusive collaboration, KANEMASA PHIL.
and J.PRESS ORIGINALS present a refined regular-collar
patch & flap shirt, crafted from a newly developed high-gauge
jersey fabric inspired by Royal Oxford.

Engineered with the unparalleled expertise of Kanemasa Knitting
—an emblem of Japanese innovation—the piece balances
sophistication and ease, offering a contemporary silhouette imbued
with lightness and modern elegance.
